The Rescue

Senior Pastor Young Ho Hwang, continues with his series in the book of Psalms through this summer, preaching from Psalm 18. This beautiful Psalm summarizes David's life and how he was rescued by God, who left an indelible impression on his heart forever. David's love for God is the foundation and stronghold of his life. He is unabashed and vulnerable and knows his strength comes only from God. As with us, God in His great mercy rescued us from His coming wrath and judgment. We too, were in the cords of death and entangled and have no idea from the curse of hell of which we are saved. No words can explain what God has done for us through His Son, Jesus Christ. "I love you, O Lord, my strength."
