The Real Difference

Senior Pastor Young Ho Hwang, continues with our series in the book of Psalms through this summer, preaching from Psalm 37:1-11. What is a true fear of God? Do you listen to sin speak to your heart like the serpent did to Adam and Eve? A heart of darkness cannot see evil for what it is...no fear of God. Yes, there is the dreaded fear of judgment from a righteous God; and then there is the fear of disappointing the God who loves you. God hates sin because it separates Him from those He loves, and we should hate it for the same reason...it separates us from the God we love. Let us not make the mistake of rationalizing even the smallest sin where it grows into a monster in our heart. Confess and turn away. Your own righteous acts will not save you. A righteous person is full of God! God loves you and went to the cross for you. Fear Him rightly.
