David at Nob

Senior Pastor Young Ho Hwang resumes his series on the life of David, "The Gospel According to David" preaching from 1 Samuel 21:1-9; 22:6-23. What is your posture before God? Do you humbly come into His presence by the blood of Jesus, as foreshadowed by the Tabernacle? Or, do you place yourself above God? Do you blame others and are ready to sin because you're a victim? Or, do you take responsibility for your actions and admit when you're wrong? David, though weak, tired, hungry and uncertain about his situation remained faithful to God. Contrasted with Saul who schemed to have David killed, and had Doeg murder the Priests at Nob. Saul never knew God the way David did resulting in his inevitable downfall. His posture cost him his life.
