David's Prayer For His Child

Pastor Young continues with his sermon series on the life of David "The Gospel According to David" preaching from 2 Samuel 12:13-25. It is God's grace to confront us in our sin, and that we ask for forgiveness and are forgiven. May we see our sin and the evil brought about to bring us to a right repentance and a deeper walk with God. May we properly deal with the wreckage from sin's consequence in a humble state, like David going down to the ground. May we not listen to the voices that tell us not to look at the wreckage and to put ourselves above God. We must learn to properly mourn our sin and lean on God's will when He answers "no" to our prayer, and ask for forgiveness when we make our sin and disappointment bigger than Him.
