David's Repentance

Youth Pastor Niki Blumetti continues with our sermon series on the life of David "The Gospel According to David" preaching from Psalm 51. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news for all of us. David's prayer for repentance is the turning point of his life after his tragic sin against God. Sin has a way of closing our heart towards God, giving us a blurred vision of His holiness. Give glory to the One we must give an account to, and ask God to deal with your sin according to who He is, so you can be made right with Him. To turn from our sin, we must start with a sorrowful heart that is ashamed of sin and hates it, then truly confesses it to God, and turn to Him. For God, in Christ Jesus, has taken our guilt, forgiven us, and has made us right with Him.
